Calls for proposals, tax regulations, bank loans, leverage on equity… financing innovation can be a real jungle, and finding your way through it is a real marathon.

That is why Dynergie is partnering with two experts: Banque Populaire through its Next innov network and Maddyness, the go-to media outlet for the startup scene.

Course de Fonds is THE editorial series that breaks down every detail of funding for your innovation and R&D projects. Each month, discover a new article focusing on a specific topic.

A three-way partnership comprising experts

A chance meeting, a shared vision, and a strong commitment to supporting innovators and R&D projects—it was only natural that this partnership would emerge between our three organizations.

A private investor in innovation, notably through its support Next Innov', Banque Populaire offers insights and expertise on banking financing topics. In an increasingly challenging economic climate with intense financing needs, this series aims to provide the keys to a successful banking strategy: How do you approach banks? What is the difference between traditional banks and innovation banks? How do banks approach innovation financing? And how do they evaluate applicants’ proposals? You’ll find answers to all these questions in Course de Fonds.

With 15 years of experience in comprehensive innovation financing, Dynergie offers a comprehensive perspective on the strategies to adopt, as well as the various levers and mechanisms available. Our work alongside leading innovation projects and flagship startups in industry, deep tech, and the energy transition allows us to provide concrete insights and analysis onthe expectations of funding agencies, financing roadmaps, and innovation taxation. These mechanisms hold no secrets for Dynergie’s 100 passionate experts, all of whom come from the top scientific fields. This series is an opportunity to share exclusive insights and concrete testimonials from our clients and partners.

Maddyness is THE go-to media source for innovation and economic topics. A true expert in the field, it has naturally emerged as the missing piece of the puzzle. Through both the writing of its editors and its in-depth expertise on these topics, Maddyness brings you clarity in the insights it shares.

Financing the future: a topic more critical than ever

In a world undergoing profound change, it is our duty as a company to commit to shaping and supporting a desirable future. Research and innovation play a major role in addressing these far-reaching challenges.

Funding the development of innovative projects and the organizations behind them is a real race against time. This long-distance race requires a clear vision of the opportunities available to them, so they can make the most of them.

Over the past few decades, funding for innovation and R&D projects has continued to grow. Examples include the 4th Investment for the Future Program (PIA4) and the France 2030 program, which allocates 54 billion euros in investments to support innovative technologies and the ecological transition in key sectors critical to French and European sovereignty.

As you can see, there are many opportunities to create significant leverage and thus influence the development of projects. To make the most of them, it is essential to be aware of them and learn how to use them effectively. Being aware of the various tools available is an important first step, but understanding how to use them, how to make them work together, and how to activate them is another.

Dynergie, Maddyness, and Banque Populaire have therefore joined forces to provide you with practical, actionable advice on this topic.

Long-Distance Running: A Guide to Everything You Need to Know
