How can we encourage researchers to launch their deep tech projects?

About this event

Calls for early-stage proposals, grants, venture builders, startup meetups… There are numerous initiatives designed to encourage researchers to embark on the deep-tech entrepreneurial journey. However, not all of them yield the same results, and some struggle to bring the most ambitious projects to fruition.

Which tools have truly proven their worth?
What, specifically, do researchers expect in terms of support, guidance, and recognition?
Should we rethink the way institutional actors engage with the academic community?

As part of a small-group discussion, the POC Media Club brings together two key players in the identification, promotion, and funding of early-stage deep tech projects to spark a discussion and share practical insights.
