About this event
A leading annual event in Sophia Antipolis, the Deeptech Forum returns for its second edition on June 3, 2026, organized by students in the Specialized Master’s in Deeptech Entrepreneurship & Innovation at Mines Paris – PSL, in partnership with Dynergie.
Held in the heart of Europe’s leading technology park in Sophia Antipolis, the event will bring together researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, industry leaders, and public officials for a day featuring roundtable discussions, networking, and regional planning.
In light of the challenges that define disruptive innovation today (funding, industrialization, long development cycles), Forum 2026 asks a blunt question: Deep tech is changing the world. But what if it doesn’t have the means to do so?
Deeptech Sophia Antipolis 2026 Forum
A must-attend event in the regional deep tech ecosystem, the Deeptech Forum Sophia Antipolis returns for its second edition in the heart of Europe’s leading technology park.
Organized by students in the Specialized Master’s in Deeptech Entrepreneurship & Innovation at Mines Paris – PSL, in partnership with Dynergie, the event brings together researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, and public sector representatives around a shared belief: science can change the world.
Deep tech is changing the world. But what if it doesn't have the resources to do so?
This is the central question of the 2026 edition, posed with deliberate candor. Against a backdrop of mounting financial pressure, where investment cycles are tightening and the transition from the lab to commercialization remains a formidable challenge, the forum chooses to tackle the fundamental tensions underlying disruptive innovation: how can a scientific discovery be transformed into an economic success without betraying its essence? How can we manage failure and long cycles, and structure viable funding pathways?
A day of discussions and future planning
The day will feature roundtable discussions, a luncheon reception designed to foster informal networking, and workshops on regional planning focused on Sophia Antipolis’s vision for 2035.
From in-depth discussions on deep tech recovery strategies to IPOs and the collaborative development of future scenarios for the region, the program strikes a balance between intellectual rigor and concrete networking opportunities.
