I-LAB: €375,000 in funding from Bpifrance

NELLOW

NELLOW is developing new generations of AI chips based on non-volatile logic, which help reduce energy consumption.

Funding in the Context of Deep Tech Startup Creation

Nellow’s technology, developed through years of research at the CEA, the CNRS, Thales, and the University of Grenoble Alpes, required support to continue the R&D activities needed to accelerate the development of a technology critical to national security.

In order to fund the hiring of engineers, Nellow turned to Dynergie for assistance with its application to the i-Lab competition.

our response

I-Lab Application Package

Since the project stemmed from CEA research, the R&D phases of the project were clearly defined.

Dynergie's work therefore focused on the following key steps:

1. Compiling the application materials, including the creation of the technical dossier and the preparation of comprehensive financial documents (projected financial statements, business plan)

2. Strengthening key elements of the proposal to maximize its impact

3. Assistance with submitting the application on the Bpifrance platform

4. Preparation for the oral exam through mock exams led by a panel of internal experts to evaluate the project and refine the presentation

5. Monitoring the review of the application and communications with the funding agency

The results

€375,000 in aid

NELLOW has secured a grant of over €375,000, enabling the company to hire engineers to develop its ferroelectric technologies.

Project Structure and Business Plan

The support provided helped us refine the project’s structure and develop a solid business plan, which will be useful both for the I-Lab application and for future discussions with investors.

Access to other European funding

This successful restructuring has enabled NELLOW to pave the way for additional funding, including an application for the EIC Transition program, thereby strengthening its entrepreneurial trajectory.

In conclusion.

This collaboration between Dynergie and NELLOW perfectly illustrates how strategic guidance can catalyze the growth of an innovative company.

Jean-Philippe Attané

CEO

Dynergie supported us with diligence and professionalism throughout the process. The two consultants we worked with possessed complementary skills, were highly responsive, and brought significant expertise to the table. They effectively leveraged their network to help us prepare for the oral presentation, and it was a pleasure to work with them. We will not hesitate to call on them for similar projects; Dynergie has clearly demonstrated its role as a catalyst and its effectiveness.
