Dynergie, a consulting firm specializing in innovation

Dynergie is not a traditional innovation consulting or market research firm. Rather, it is an innovation accelerator dedicated to driving major social, environmental, and technological transformations.

We bring together a network of 120 dedicated experts at the heart of various sectors, who for over 20 years have been supporting more than 500 innovative companies and organizations with tailored solutions, enabling them to adapt to the major challenges facing our society.

Our teams develop a comprehensive innovation strategy that combines financial strategy, business intelligence, operational methods, and the necessary resources to maximize the chances of success for innovative projects.

Among the many services we offer, market research and testing enable our clients to:

  • To master their ecosystem,
  • To safeguard their investments and development efforts,
  • Tooptimize their strategy.

The innovation process

At Dynergie, our innovation process is designed to be seamless and efficient, aimed at turning your ideas into market successes. This approach is based on three key stages: ideation/conceptualization, testing, and deployment.

Emergence / Conceptualization

During the ideation and conceptualization phase, our experts work closely with you to shape the core concept of your innovative offering. By carefully analyzing your goals and conducting market research, they are able to develop a concept that meets the needs of your target audience. This phase serves as the essential foundation upon which the success of your future innovation rests.

Field test

In this second phase, the innovative concept is put to the test. Through market testing, the appeal and viability of your offering to the target market are evaluated. This second type of market research allows you to gather valuable data and adjust your strategy based on real-world feedback from potential customers, thereby minimizing risks and maximizing the chances of success during rollout.

Deployment

During the deployment phase, you take action by bringing your innovation to market. At every stage, our teams support you in conducting tests and making continuous adjustments to ensure that your product or service meets market expectations and finds its place in the competitive landscape. By working closely with you, our teams aim to ensure the long-term success of your innovation, maximizing its impact and profitability.

What are the differences between studying and testing?

Market research analyzes the characteristics, trends, and behaviors of a specific market or industry. Its goal is to understand consumer needs, preferences, and behaviors, as well as the competitive, technological, and legal environment.

On the other hand, a market test involves directly testing an innovative concept with future customers or partners. This is done through marketing and sales experiments designed to assess market interest in the concept and its commercial potential, and to gather information to improve the product or service (target audience, value proposition, UX, UI, pricing, features, etc.).

That is why the timing is different: market research is generally conducted during the early stages, while market testing takes place during the validation and rollout phases.

The types of studies conducted during market testing focus primarily on quantitative studies or qualitative. In contrast, for a more traditional market study, it is common to include competitive, technological, and ecosystem analyses.

What are the three main functions of the market research we conduct?

Analysis of market trends and emerging technologies

The goal is to provide you with a clear picture of current trends, while identifying emerging innovations that could reshape the competitive landscape. To achieve this, we analyze scientific reports, industry publications, and existing market studies to gather the relevant data needed to develop your new offering.

Understanding how customer needs are evolving

We engage in in-depth discussions with your current and potential clients and partners. These discussions take various forms, such as interviews, surveys, or focus groups, and allow us to gauge their expectations and concerns. By analyzing this data, our teams are able to identify emerging trends and tailor your approach to meet your clients’ evolving needs.

Analysis of the Competition and Technology Categories

We closely examine the competitive landscape and the various types of technologies available. The goal is to identify the key players in your industry, evaluate their products and services, and understand their strengths and weaknesses. This in-depth analysis enables our experts to provide you with valuable insights to help you strategically position yourself in the market and develop differentiated and innovative solutions.

What are the different types of market tests that can be conducted?

What are the three steps of a market test?

Innovation Marketing & Strategy Development

First, we define the key elements you wish to identify. This step helps establish a clear strategy and action plan.

These assumptions cover:

  • Marketing Your Innovation: Value proposition, use cases, ideal customers, partners, pricing
  • Market and customer insights: Goals, expectations, needs, frustrations, and competing solutions
  • Designing an MVP: A coherent solution tailored to specific use cases

Once this first step is complete, our experts will prepare all the necessary materials for presenting your proposal during the testing phase: landing page, presentation script, and interview outlines.

Testing innovation in the market

The action plan is then implemented collaboratively to gather all the necessary information to confirm or refute your assumptions. Testing is conducted iteratively to enable optimizations based on the insights gained (value proposition, benefits, features).

Analyze the results and decide whether to proceed or not

Once the tests are complete and all necessary information has been gathered, we begin analyzing the results. Our experts evaluate each hypothesis to draw relevant conclusions. To do this, we compare the results with benchmark data from industries similar to yours to ensure an accurate interpretation of the findings and to provide you with strategic recommendations for moving forward with your project.
